Aum Namah Shivaya – Dance Offering…

Shivarathri ushers in the sacrosanct touch of auspiciousness and supreme devotion, to merge oneself into the Supreme ‘Inherent’ Reality’ – Shiva Tattwa. Heralding the message sacrosanct, the Prasanthi Dance Group comprising students from Prasanthi Nilayam campus offered a dance presentation entitled “Aum Namah Shivaya” this evening, on the Shivarathri eve, here in Prasanthi Nilayam.

The dance offering began with ‘Swagatam’, invocation followed by ‘Vandanam’, adoration and moved on to the story of Prasanthi’s own tale of Lingodbavam and the auspiciousness of the Saiyeeshwara Lingam. The higher secondary bunch of blossoming talents in the troupe danced to the tune of a specially composed “Sai Maheshwara Lingashtakam” depicting adoration and worship of “Sadguru Sai Maheshwara Lingam”.

The next piece was “Ananda Tandavam Ananda Tandavam…”, a depiction of Lord Shiva’s Celestial Cosmic Dance, portraying the spiritual purport behind It.

A piece saluting the eternal Pranava Principle of Pranavakara followed next, to the tune of “Vande Shivam Shankaram Sathya Saiyeeshwaram Shubhakaram…”

The programme concluded with a gratitude number, expressing grateful salutations to Bhagawan’s Supreme Benevolence, granting them one more opportunity to perform in His immediate Divine Presence.

The Shivarathri eve turned out to be colourful and decorative, witnessing a virtual worship at the Sanctum Sanctorum of Lord Sai Nataraja, at His earthly Abode in Puttaparthi.
