Holy Guru Purnima Morning…

Prasanthi Nilayam and the Sai fraternity hold the unparalleled privilege that loudly proclaims the Truth Beyond All The Truths, “My Guru Is My God; God Is My Guru” pointing to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Who Is verily The Lord Of All Gods. In a world full of turbulence, of chaotic illusion, it is never easy to earn a Guru, who can steer one on the right path. In this context, Prasanthi Nilayam stands apart  boasting The Presence of The Supreme Master, Who, out of His supreme munificence acknowledged HimSelf as Sarvadevadaateeta Swarupa, The Lord Of All Gods.  Celebrating the rare privilege of proximity with The Master Supreme, today, on the auspicious Guru Purnima morning, Prasanthi Nilayam turned effulgent, basking in the glory of SadhGuru.

The proceedings for the morning commenced at 0800 hrs with a short stint of Rudram chanting, followed by a session by the percussionists from SSSIHL. “Guru Vandana”, a bouquet of songs by the students of SSSIHL streamed through the next 45 minutes, hailing the ‘glory-unlimited’ of the Guru, asserting the supreme significance of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai as the foremost SadhGuru. The programme with interludes of stylish commentary captured the essence of the theme ‘Adoration Of The SadhGuru’, serenading Him with an assortment of devotional numbers full of the Guru-Essence.

Hon’ble Union Minister For Law and Justice and Ministry of Information Technology Sri Ravi Shankar Prasad and Hon’ble Endowment Minister, Andhra Pradesh, Sri Manikya Rao were guests of honour for the occasion.

Four speeches followed next, by Sarvasree SS Naganand, Trust Member, SSSCT, Alex Ghrana of the US, representing SSIO, followed by the AP Minister Sri Manikya Rao, who chose to speak in vernacular Telugu, the last being Sri Ravi Shankar Prasad.

Sri SS Naganand in his address, spoke on the essence of the SadhGuru principle, touching upon the ‘Touch Of Grace’ of the SadhGuru in physical. Addressing next, Alex Ghrana, while delving on the SadhGuru principle, portraying the supreme-most significance of The Abode Of Peace – Prasanthi Nilayam, also narrated some of the forthcoming Sai ‘service’ initiatives by the SSIO apart from narrating selected Sai Miracles from all corners of the globe.

Addressing last, Union Minister Sri Ravi Shankar Prasad began with adorable humility saying, he is not here today in the capacity of a Union Minister, but he has come as a simple devotee. Congratulating the Board Of Governance for the mammoth service initiatives by the Trust and the Organisation, the minister hailed the Sri Sathya Sai Movement calling it the biggest voluntary movement of man-making. At the government level, we work with authority, while in the Sai Movement, it is purely voluntary contribution out of love, wherein service is being rendered, hailed the Minister in appreciation of the work of the Sai Movement. Acknowledging the special ‘spiritual’ vibes at Prasanthi Nilayam, that the Minister experienced this morning in the precincts, Sri Ravi Shankar Prasad, calling it ‘Extra-Ordinary’, said, this is the message from Bhagawan, “Trust In Me…Trust My Teachings…Trust My Vision, My Hand Of Blessing And Guidance Will Always Be There.” Before conclusion, the Minister exhorted the Sai Fraternity to keep the good work going for the sake of humanity.

Bhajans continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.

The Sri Sathya Sai Nithya Anna Seva, a project initiative providing wholesome South Indian Meals for devotees visiting Prasanthi Nilayam, was later pressed into service by the Union Minister Sri Ravi Shankar Prasad along with AP Minister, Sri Manikya Rao, in both the gents and ladies wing of the new set up inside the Ashram premises, respectively.
