Sai Sur Sandhya – Musical Bouquet by The Youth of Kurukshetra

Continuing with the Prasanthi Yatra celebrations the pilgrim group from Haryana & Chandigarh, Sai Youth from the district Kurukshetra, offered a musical evening today entitled ‘Sai Sur Sandhya’, serenading The Lord here, in Prasanthi Nilayam.

Tuning in with five finely crafted devotionals the ‘Group Of 11′, clad in pristine yellow, turned the august evening today into a most vibrantly poised musical one, singing with great passion and devotional fervour.

Commencing the session with a Ganesh Vandana singing ‘Gaaiye Ganapati Jagavandana…’ in Raag Hindol, the session flowed on with a thumri based Krishna bhajan in Raag Bhairavi, ‘Kanha Tore Naina…’. The Divine Story of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai, ‘Sai Avatara Ki Divya Katha’… based on Raag Kalawati & Charukesh next was followed by a Punjabi number singing ‘Je Tu Naa Phadada Saddibaanth…’ in Raag Bhairavi. The final number was a scintillating Sufi Qawwali based on Raag Darbari ‘, ‘Sai Ke Rang Rang Dhiniodhini…’. Interlaced with Hindi commentary, the set of 5 songs turned out to be a rare treat in the evening, exposing the Sai Youth of their immense talent.

Earlier, commencing the session at 1650 hrs., Vice President of SSSSO, Haryana & Chandigarh, Sri Mahesh Dheer addressed the august assembly, briefing about the Youth activities being done in the State. Delivering his maiden speech after assuming the responsibility of the office of the Vice President, the young speaker spelt out some of the outstanding youth service initiatives from the State.

Bhajans by Haryana & Chandigarh mahilas next ended with Mangala Arathi to Beloved Bhagawan.
