Czech New Zealand Music Programme

25th January 2011: A combined musical programme by two different countries, Czech Republic from the Central Europe and New Zealand, an island country in the south-western Pacific Ocean was the highlight on the 25th January evening in Prasanthi Nilayam.

In the evening Bhagawan emerged at 1820 hrs. and after a full round of Darshan cam on to the dais at 1840 hrs.Five minutes after adorning the dais, Bhagawan nodded to commence the programme. Initial blessings ensued followed by an invocatory prayer “Ganaanaam Thwa…”. The troupe sang for the next half-an-hour, Czech Republic followed by New Zealand. Songs were in the native languages of both the countries apart from English and a number in Telugu-Hindi mix. The programme lasted well over half-an-hour. Bhajans by the troupe followed before Bhagawan accepted Mangala Arathi at 1930 hrs. With Arathi on, Bhagawan blessed the concourse with an Abhayahastha.

As Bhagawan continued to sit, He blessed a couple of youth from the troupe, one each from Czech and New Zealand with Vibhuti Prasadam before calling some more lucky ones, two ladies, again one each from both the countries, to come on to the stage to receive His blessings.

His blessing right palm turned upward, lifting itself producing an ‘inimitable’ circular motion. With His index finger He did another ‘inimitable’ action, His very own, ‘scribbling something in the air’ as His gaze turned fixed at the august assembly. …It was time for Bhagawan to leave.

Leaving the dais, Bhagawan moved into the Interview Room to spend next ten minuters in before retiring to Yajur Mandiram at 1945 hrs. Significantly, this was to be the last cultural presentation by any group in the Divine Physical Presence of Bhagawan.
