Gratitude Season Commences…

Come February – March, it is Gratitude season in Prasanthi Nilayam with passing out batches of students fondly remember Beloved Mother Sai for His incomparable love of infinite mothers. For the budding ambassadors, as they are attributed in Sai-parlance, this season turns out to be a grand occasion to ‘chirp’ their innermost feeling of love and gratitude for The All In One – Sri Sathya Sai.

Commencing this academic year’s gratitude season, higher secondary wings of students, boys and girls, offered their Gratitude offering on 19th and 20th February evening here, in Prasanthi Nilayam.

Presenting first, on Thursday, the boys’ wing comprising both 10th and 12th classes offered a heart-warming session, packed with stories galore intertwined with commentary and songs. The 70 minutes session in tone and tenor was suffused with Love n’ Gratitude for Bhagawan, expressed by the blossoming students in the language of their hearts, well interspersed with melodious group songs.

The stories ranged from ‘admission grace’ to saving from robbery in the African land… to Grandmother’s life-saving experience… to Lord Ganesha’s Hand saving a tumbling life… to Bhagawan coming in dream granting a pricey Divine Hug and much more.

The refrain “Thank You Swami For Everything…” reverberated the hall quite often in the blessed evening, as the grateful children went all out baring their hearts out for The One Universal Mother, Who ‘handpicked’ them.

Rightly they sang, “Neevemaa Sarvam…Neevema Praanam…” – You Are my Everything… You Are my Life…

We are not students in a school; we are brothers at home. We are not friends, but we are a family, they blurted in conclusion, echoing the Sai sentiments that enthralled their beings. They echoed, ‘Our Love Is Your Message’ a collective sentiment, commitment to Beloved Mother Sai.

A brilliantly beautiful video presentation on Swami and His children served as an added lustre for the ensuing twilight.

Continuing from where the boys left on the previous, the girls’ wing of the higher secondary section offered their grateful hearts in a 75-minute long enthralling session on Friday, 19th February.

The presentation entitled “Tum Se Hi Seekha Hum Ne Jeena…” – It Is From You Alone That We Have Learnt The Art Of Living… was a compilation of commentary on the greater glory of Mother Sai, personal experiences studded with group songs, instrumentals, etc.

The girls ended with “Sai Shukhriya…Sai Shukhriya…Sai Shukriya…”

Bhajans continued and the session concluded with Mangala Arathi to Beloved Bhagawan.
