First Evening Of Prasanthi Vidhwan Mahasabha…

Day-4 of the Dasara and the first evening of the Prasanthi Vidhwan Mahasabha today featured a interesting speech by one of the faculties at SSSIHL, Bhagawan’s Divine discourse followed by a musical offering by the students of the Muddenahalli Campus.

Commencing the session this evening Sri Sai Shyam Sharma, Asst. Professor with Dept. Of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at Prasanthi Nilayam Campus spoke on the subject ‘Daiva Preeti Papa Bheeti’. Serving a series of pointers with his rich experience with Bhagawan the speaker said,  ‘we need to be able to overcome the evil tendencies in us by the sweetness of love’, summing up his speech. How Bhagawan is not a Durvasa, but Embodiment Of Love and Compassion, how loving your fellow men becomes the easiest way to love God, his own symbolic experience of overcoming the fear darkness with a ‘sweet’ sugar candy from His Divine Hands formed the story-line for Shyam’s interesting enlightening speech.

A brief narration on the golden past Dasara celebrations followed next by, presented by Sri KM Ganesh, research scholar at SSSIHL, Prasanthi Nilayam Campus.

Following Bhagawan’s Divine discourse next, students from the Muddenahalli Campus of SSSIHL presented a musical offering serenading The Lord almost for a hour. The programme ended with a lively Mahishasura Mardini Strotram, presenting the story of the end of the demon Mahishasura at the Hands Of Mother Divine. Notably, there was an offering to Mother Earth, an Earth Song in English, presented uniquely with the special group raising to their feet, presenting it with a touch of acting couples with singing.

Earlier, commencing the session, tiny tots from Bhagawan’s Primary School presented the invocatory Vedam, commencing the evening’s proceedings.

Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
