A vibrant evening by Odisha Balvikas…

East Indian State Of Odisha has always been ‘special’ for Beloved Bhagawan.  Odisha endeared itself into His ‘Divine’ Heart permanently with its never-say-die-spirited attitude involving service coupled with dedicated devotion. Feasting The ‘Infinite’ Love of the Mother Of Love… Balvikas children from the State presented twin colourful offering this evening in His immediate Divine OmniPresence in Prasanthi Nilayam.

Commencing the session with a brief introductory speech Sri Narayan Sar, State President Of SSSSO,  first enumerated some of the salient Sai service activities happening in the State. Thanking Bhagawan profusely for His special Bond Of Love n’ Grace for the State, the State President touched upon the timely action by the SSSSO during the devastating Cyclone Fani that battered the State in the month of May. “Our Organisation was the first to pitch in…”, said the State President, divulging in short the action plan that touched thousands, winning accolades from the bureaucracy. A housing scheme helping a group of hapless and needy from the State is in pipeline, announced the State President concluding his speech.

First programme for the evening was an offering to The Primordial Divine Mother, Shakthi. Presenting in three parts, representing Generation, Operation and Destruction, the first part of the programme was the depiction of ‘Sagar Manthan’, the vital churning of the ocean, showcasing the ‘grant entry’ of Mother Divine, from the churning, Who appeared in the form of Goddess Mahalakshmi. The next part was on the  ’slaying of Bhasmasura’ featuring the Divine Mother, Who ‘timely’ intervened knocking down the demonic threat, thus saving the world. The final part was a depiction of Mahishasura Mardini Strotram, wherein Goddess Durga appeared to slay the demon Mahishasura, who threatened to destroy the three worlds, finally restoring peace and prosperity in all the worlds. She Alone Is… Who Is Verily The Doer… Of Creation, Operation, Destruction, The Supreme G-O-D-Head.

The final programme was a musical bouquet by the blossoming buds of Odisha Balvikas Sai Symphony. Titled “Bhava Naivedyam” they began with an offering to Lord Shiva, serenading “Aum Namah Shivaya…” and flowed on with “Kamal Nayan Waale Ram…”, “BIswa Jagannatha…”, “O Palanharey – Tumre  Bin Hamra Kou Na Nahin…” an apt offering for His everlasting love n’ grace for the State that batters natural furies regularly. The offering was a dedication celebrating the golden jubilee year of Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas. The final number was an assortment of Prasanthi’s evergreen numbers, presented in the form of a mellifluous medley. Prasanthi echoed the united voice of innocent children from Swami’s own Odisha, who collective sung “Hum Terey Hey Sai…”.

Over 1300 devotees are participating in the 2-day Parthi Yatra. A special group of lovely souls, hearing and speech impaired children from the Deaf & Dumb School of Unitary Area, Bhubaneshwar are also participating in the Yatra. These lovely children will enact a special presentation titled “Karuna” in His Divine OmniPresence tomorrow evening.

Bhajans by the State unit continued and the session concluded with Mangala Arathi to Beloved Bhagawan.
