Prasanthi Vidhwan MahaSabha – Day-5

When He set His mission rolling, He has attracted many a beautiful soul unto Him, allotting them specific tasks, letting His mission on. The group of ‘Sai Sannidhi’ is one such bloc of blessed souls who are mostly ‘hand-picked’ by Bhagawan, serving in various Sri Sathya Sai institutions spreading over Prasanthi Nilayam, Brindavan, Muddenahalli, and Rajahmundry. Today, in the 5th evening of the ongoing Prasanthi Vidhwan MahaSabha in Prasanthi, the ‘Sai Sannidhi’ submitted itself at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet in everlasting gratitude, presenting a lively evening  of experiences with ‘Swami’. The Brindavan boys followed suit, presenting an offering, post the ‘Sai Sannidhi’ offering.

The session commenced at 1640 hrs with invocatory Vedam by the students from Anantapur campus. Doctoral Research Scholar from the Dept of Mgmt & Commerce, Sri Chandrahas CS was the Master of Ceremonies, who introduced the session, speaking on the greater significance of the day, Durgashatami.

The Sai Sannidhi session commenced with a presentation by Sri CG Sai Prakash from Radio Sai, who brought out some of the most precious pearls of anecdotes from the initial years of Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajnam. He touched upon many a beautiful tale that included the ever unmatched Pallakki Utsavam, the famed Kamandalu story connecting Shirdi Sai and Sathya Sai, and His ineffable declaration announcing the Entry Of Light unto the world with His physical entry on planet earth. Sri Srinivas from SSSIHL who spoke next narrated a beautiful personal episode connected to Durga Sapatashati parayanam during the Dasara celebrations. We need to overcome our many flaws to be eligible for Sadhgathi (liberation), reminded the speaker. Continuing with the Dasara tales Sri Praveena from SSSHSC next narrated a some of the most thrilling incidents dates back to some decades, ending up with his own personal experiences connecting to his language of profession, Sanskrit. 

The session continued with Sai Premaye Veda Saaramu… a group song that captured the essence of Bhagawan’s mission of Vedic renaissance. As the session flowed on, Sri Kannan from SSSIHMS spoke a few of Dasara related experiences suffused with great moral lessons, asking fellow pilgrims not to judge His actions with limited minds. ‘Suraj Ki Garmi Se…’ next echoed the collective voice of surrender at Beloved Mother Sai.  The final expression was that of Sri Rameshwar Prusty  from SSSCT who spoke on the 3-S of Swami that being, Sacrifice, Simplicity, Service. A final group song in English ‘We Love You Swami…Thank You Swami’ brought the curtains down for the heartfelt gratitude call by the grateful forum of Sai Sannidhi.

Bhagawan’s Divine discourse next, aired on the on the public address system, was focused on the Dharma aspect of human life.

Students from the Brindavan campus then delivered the final call for the day, presenting a musical bouquet of Love n’ Gratitude.
