Oh! Sai Maa…Aao…Ab Nazaron Sey Nazar Milao

During Lord Rama’s time Bharata had an agonising long wait, but he did it with single focus, finally to win Him…During the times of Lord Krishna Radha did it, living for Him with every breath singing Divine Romance…in the present times when The Mighty Lord walked and walked past, are we ready to play that part, living a life of focus on Him as exemplified by Bharata, with the same love and devotion of Radharani, that she had for her Krishna…when time alone is the witness for the tears of anguish, of pain of separation, someone calls Him out with passion and devotion to fulfil each of humanity’s dream, seeking an encore, with the Lord once again gazing back into the human eyes…a poetic appeal, written in Hindi-English, from Sri Jullie Chaudhuri.

Oh! Sabsey Priya Sai Maa…
Shabdon sey nahi izhaar kar sakte hain hum,
Ki…
Humare liye hadh sey bhi zyada…
…anmol ho Tum,
Oh! Sai Maa…Tum ho pyaar hamara,
…sampoorna roop sey shresht ho Tum…
Phir bhi yeh arz kartey hain hum…
Ki…
Prem hamara kabool karlo Tum…
Khwaabon ko haqueeqat mein badal daalo Tum,
Pyaar sey…
…phir ek baar nazaron sey nazar,
Milao Tum…
Oh! Beloved Mother Sai…
Indeed words can never express…
…how utterly precious to us…are You,
…beyond measure…we do cherish and value You…
…even so…we beseech You…we do…
…to acknowledge our wholesome love…
…and accept our fervent plea…
…we seek an encore eagerly…
…Come, once again…
…gaze back into our eyes lovingly…

Har pal Teri hee yaadon mein guzaartein hain hum,
Terey hazaaron madhur naam…
…har waqt gungunaatey hain hum,
Har lamhon ko Teri hee chabi sey sajaatey hain hum,
Tum hee Tum ko ananthkaal tak chahtey hain hum…
Time is merged in memories of You…
…the minutes pass by…
…even as we hum the lilting melody…
…of Your thousand names…
…every single moment is adorned…
…with wondrous images depicting You…
It is You Whom we desire…
…solely…
…eternity through…

Yeh nayan Tujhe doondhey chaaron oar,
Teri preet hummey kheenchey Teri oar…
Terey bin akelaapan mehsoos kartey hain hum…
Ajeeb sa adhooraapan…
…khamosh hruday mey macha deta hai shor…
Oh! Sai Maa ye sach jaantey ho Tum…
Phir kyon anjaan bun kar…
…dur rehtey ho Tum,
Samay sakshi hai…
…aankhon mey peedapurna ashkh…
…palko mey anginat manohar kalpanayein…
…har ek kalpana…ek sundar smriti,
…har ek smriti…ek khwab…
…har ek khwab mey Tum hee Tum,
Nivedan kartey hai hum…
In sub khwaabon ko kamal charano sey choodo Tum,
In sub khwaabon ko haqueeqat mey badal do Tum…
These eyes search for You in every direction…
…crossing the barriers of many an unknown frontier…
It is Your love alone that attracts us near…
Yet, a loneliness is experienced…
…an inexplicable void…
…that creates a restless clamor and din…
…in the still silence of the heart within…
Oh! Sai Maa…all this is known to You,
Yet, why do You stay away…
…making us deliberate…
…upon this pretext of innocent nescience…
…within the mystic play of Your Omniscience…
Time is witness to the tears of anguish…
…that brim in the eyes…
…the eyelids reminisce and shelter,
…myriad divine visions…
…within the spectrum of vivid imagination…
…each thought…a recollection…
…each recollection…a treasured dream…
…each dream…does You enthrone…
…revolves around You alone…
Oh! Sai Maa…hear our plea…
…touch these dreams with Thy Lotus Feet kindly,
…supportively, acquiescingly…
…transform them, Oh! Mother…
…into a tangible reality…

Ab aur na seh sakengey ye doori hum,
Bardasht ki seema paar kar chuke hain hum,
Oh! Sai Maa…Oh! Pavitra Priyatam,
Ab rehmat ki baarish sey mitao gum,
Iss vilamb ko shighra hee kardo kam,
Ye sambhav kardo Tum…
Ki…
Sri Ram ke samay ki diwali manaa paaye hum,
Ab…
Apney har ek shabd ko sach kar do Tum,
Ab khwaabon ko haqueeqat mey badal do Tum,
Aao, Sai Maa…
…Ab nazron sey nazar,
Milao Tum…

Having crossed the limits of forbearance…
…the magnitude of enduring a colossal endurance…
No longer can we tolerate this distance,
Unbearable…unacceptable…agonizingly unendurable…
With the shower of Your sublime grace…
You must now obliterate all sorrows,
These delays must now posthaste be condensed,
That we may celebrate a diwali…
…redolently evocative of the one,
..that celebrated the return of Sri Rama from exile…
Oh! Mother Sai…
Grant us this magnificent grace…
…make each of Your word come into fruition true,
…transform our dreams in to reality,
…confer this boon…bestow this plea…
…fulfil this desire blissfully…
Come, now…
…once again…gaze back in to our eyes…
…match our gaze lovingly…
