Chariot Procession and Jhoola Mahotsavam…

The Monarch of the Cosmos when chose to bless Mother Earth and her populace, He has countless recreational avenues set for the benefit of His devout followers. 23rd November and its greater glory is one such occasion, undoubtedly incomparable.

After a glitteringly packed morning session, when the clock ticked to the evening hours, it was regality in a different flavour that was in the offing.

Commencing the proceedings, the Golden Chariot that The Lord mounted in 1997, fulfilling scriptural prophecies, was taken out in a regal procession today, at 1700 hrs, circumambulating the Prasanthi Mandir to the escort of Vedam and Bhajans. For the devout thousands it turned out to be a rare spectacle, having ‘Suvarna Sai Darshanam’. Covering the Nagarsankirtan route, the procession finally entered the Mandir at 1730 hrs. Mangala Arathi was offered to Bhagawan at the end of the Chariot Festival.

It is rightly said “Tum Shwas Ho… Tum Pass Ho… Tum Vishwas Ho…” You are my very breath… You are evermore as close as close can be… You are my faith, trust, confidence and assurance… When the coveted Prasanthi session passed on to the next session, it was this Life-Breath that was enlivened and offered to The Lord Supreme in this beautiful evening turned twilight, when two of the young accomplished flautists from the country took the centre-stage playing for The Ultimate Flautist…Who Was adorned in the Jhoola with multitudes watching the scene with greater faith.

The duo of Shashank Subramaniam and Rakesh Chaurasia  regaled The Lord Supreme for an hour with some breath-taking flute play. Playing in tandem, ably assisted by another two leading artistes on Mridangam and Tabla, Sarvasree Patri Satish Kumar and Satyajit Talwalkar, they signed off playing a modified version of Bhagawan’s favourite bhajan, Premamuditha Manase Kaho…

Bhajans continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi at 1900 hrs.
