Sangeeta Vibhavari by Mehboobnagar District…

Devotees from the district of Mehboobnagar presented a music programme entitled Sangeeta Vibhavari on Sunday, 15 July evening at the Sanctum Sanctorum in Prasanthi Nilayam. The programme was on the sidelines of a two-day Parthi Yatra by the devotees from the district. Over 1460 devotees, both men and women, have joined this year’s Parthi Yatra.

The programme commenced at 1700 hrs. with an introductory speech by the District President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations. In his speech, the President touched upon various service activities being undertaken in the district, which included potable drinking water project covering 150 villages apart from various Narayana Seva and Medical Seva activities. Bhagawan in His infinite compassion provided potable drinking water to 150 villages in the Mahaboobnagar district and the Organisation is regularly carrying out Narayana Seva and Medical Seva activities in the villages of the district.

Beginning the Musical Offering with salutations to Lord Ganesha, the troupe sang Swagatam Suswagatam… , a prayerful welcome song. A song on the welfare projects of Bhagawan that followed was sung with verve; the song continued extolling Bhagawan as He has lit the lamp of spirituality in people’s hearts and His love is beyond description.

Some of the other songs included in the well-knit compilation were: Tallivi Neeve Tandrivi Neeve… (You are the mother and father), You have taken care of us and nurtured us, Sri Rama Nee Nama Entho Ruchi Ra… (How sweet is Your Divine Name), Nannela Va Sathya Sai Baba… (Sathya Sai Baba, kindly look after me), Amma Sai Maa, Ma Madhilo Nilichi Po Amma (Oh Mother Sai, become imprinted in our minds oh mother), Sai Namasmaraname Punyamu… (Chanting the Name of Sai bestows merit) to end with a thought-provoking song Bhajane Manuku Ra Sai Bhajan Manukura… (Do not give up singing Bhajans)…Do not sin and experience its consequences.

All the songs were preceded with a introductory narration. Even as Bhajans continued, distribution of special gifts to the participants followed. Bhajans ended with Sunday Special, Narayana Bhaja Narayan…Narayana Bhaja Narayan…in Bhagawan’s mellifluous voice. Mangala Arathi was offered at 18:20 hrs.
