Ananta Prema by Anantapur Campus…

Weaving their tale of infinite love, women students from the Anantapur Campus offered a musical garland entitled ‘Ananta Prema’, meaning Infinite Love as part of the ongoing Sports & Cultural Festival  this evening here in Prasanthi Nilayam.

Built up on the epochal song celestial, Bhagavad Gita, the presentation served as a gentle reminder to the modern day Arjuna’s showing them how to imbibe His teachings based on the epochal song celestial, living a life of values, surrender and dedication.

Beginning with a piece by the percussion band, with loud drum beatings resonating in the background, even as the programme graduated to a crescendo, snippets from the precious teachings of Dwapara flowed in weaving intermittent musical piece.

With every introduction delving in to the greater truth, touching upon relevant epochal tales, the combined music group of percussionists and singers produced melody of beauty, pouring their emotions through the best medium known to them, music.

Arjuna received Gitopadesha when crisis was anticipated while we have received Sathyoapadesha even before the crisis was anticipated, echoed the students gratefully reminiscing their great good fortune to be ambassador’s of His message.

How impersonal God becomes personal, how Sameepyam and Saroopyam lead to the final states of Saalokyam and Sayoojyam, how dearness to be attained etc., were some of the themes came up during the fifty minute presentation. Some of the musical pieces were You Raise Me Up…, Hum Tere Hey Sai…etc.

Earlier, commencing the programme after the initial piece of percussion music, the troupe burst into a melodious piece singing Sai Gayathri followed by a ‘heartfelt’ depiction of the Meera bhav, the pining of the soul…Darshan Deejo Aao Pyaare…

A Divine Discourse piece was the final item that ended with Bhagawan leading with the Asathoma prayer…

All the participants were clad in golden sarees and the programme had a thematic backdrop, a glass paint piece done based on a Turkish model, signifying Jeevatma’s undeterred onward journey, focal point being The Paramatma, that leads one to salvation, the ultimate merger of Jeevatma in the Paramatma.

Bhajans continued by the Anantapur Campus and Mangala Arathi was offered at 1805 hrs.
