When you go into the qualifications needed for service, you will know that a pure heart uncontaminated by conceit, greed, envy, hatred, or competition is essential, also faith in God, as the spring of vitality, virtue, and justice. Service is the worship you offer to the God in the heart of everyone.

Let love be ever translated into service, into beneficial acts, sweet words of consolation, comfort, and courage, and thoughts of sympathy and compassion. – Baba

His Compassion…His magnanimity,
Though none can equal,
Certainly an iota of it we can in our hearts cradle…
Ushering in an ‘about time’ reform,
Time to prove that we do adore that wondrous Form…
Refreshing thoughts…
…Exercising caution and sync through words…
Thus indulging in wholesome actions and deeds…
…which would beckon, hasten…
…and eventually herald in, afresh, that luminous dawn,
Arresting the descent of human race in to further appalling disgrace,
Making earth glow with pride -
At least some of her children,
By the Supreme One’s words do abide…
Isn’t this what we owe, our sweet Lord…
…our Beloved Bhagawan…?

It is time to save ourselves,
Take an oath to enhance our personal growth,
Surrender, amalgamate and blend into our own essence,
…into our own inherent illumination,
Let us henceforth unanimously pledge in justification…
…of that grand boon of a Supremely Sanctified Association…
…Going on to genuinely make His compassion our mission…

Enlivening a kindred spirit…
…a selfless love that would all lives profit,
A resolve, a disposition,
…an eagerness that transforms aspirations,
…verve and vivacity that overcomes indifference,
…unconcern and apathy serving to condense,
…to love, safeguard, shield and protect…
…awarding a sweet defense…
…contributing to the rescue,
…of those facing agonizing misery, slavery and persecution,
Unwarranted harassment, unnecessary torment, a challenging view,
Injustice too,
Be it four legged or two…
Beings from the land, air or sea…
Each soul once again with joy…let us imbue,
Granting them justice anew,
…consolidate…integrate…merge…combine…unify…
…a brotherhood of creation under the Fatherhood of Sai…

To that extent we must so implement,
To herald in a royal dawn,
Isn’t this what we owe, our sweet Lord…
…our Beloved Bhagawan…?

Samastha Lokaah Sukhino Bhavantu,
Samastha Jeeva Sukhino Bhavantu,
Samastha Anu Sukhino Bhavantu,
Samastha Brahmand Sukhino Bhavantu…
Oh! Such precious intonations through and through,
From the life of our Beloved One let us take a righteous cue,
Let these chants echo within,
As well as reverberate and embrace the Cosmos too,
With its myriad shades of distinct loving hue…
Samastha Lokaah/ Samastha Jeeva Sukhino Bhavantu,
Let us make His compassion our mission,
Surely this will herald in that spectacular dawn,
Shades of Orange will then once again,
Take Its rightful place upon our horizon…
It is time to save ourselves,
Take more than a few oaths for our own growth,
Make Mother Earth smile with pride,
A sigh of relief,
That at least there are some earthlings,
That do the Lord’s words abide,
Perhaps this will assist human race its lost stature regain,
Gradually saving humanity from Cosmic disdain…

Oh! Come, dear sisters and brothers,
Let us surrender, amalgamate and blend into our own essence…
…into That Presence,
…into our own inherent illumination…
Let us henceforth unanimously pledge…
…a remarkable and genuine affiliation…
…to make His compassion our mission…
Isn’t this what we owe our Cherished One…?
Isn’t this what we owe our Beloved Bhagawan…?
The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them; that’s the essence of inhumanity. – G.B. Shaw
