Forms Are Many – God Is One…

Holding aloft the Supreme Truth of Oneness Of God, Balvikas children from Uttar Kannada (North Canara) district of Karnataka presented a dance offering entitled, “Forms Are Many…God Is One” this evening here in Prasanthi Nilayam. The programme was organised as part of a Parthi Yatra by the devotees from North Canara district, under the auspices of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Karwar, Uttar Kannada.

A huge contingent of over 2500 devotees, both men and women along with Balvikas children, are participating in this 3-day week-end Parthi Yatra.

Propitiating the Primordial Principle of The Primary Deity, Lord Ganesha, the programme commenced with a Ganesha offering and evolved through presenting different God-forms with respective themes, from Lord Ganesha to Lord Rama…to Adi Parasakthi to Adi Guru Sadguru Dattatreya…to Lord Shiva to Lord Vishnu as Vittala…to Hanuman to Lord Krishna…and finally to The Supreme Godhead as Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai.

Tiny tots in colourful costumes danced to the centre-stage, to the tune of popular devotional numbers, presenting the essential theme and crux of the message that, God Is One, The Truth that echoed Prasanthi’s amphitheatre umpteen times.

The songs for the evening included “Omkar Swaroopa Sadguru Samartha…” a popular Marati devotional number, “Dheera Sameere Yamuna Theere…” etc.

The concluding piece for the evening was a dance offering by the youth from North Canara, “Sai Vande Sai Ram…Sai Ram…” illustrating Bhagawan’s oft-repeated message of ‘Oneness Of All’.

Hundreds of students (Balvikas) from Prasanthi Sri Sathya Sai School, Siddhapur participated in the one-hour programme, ably assisted by the youth wing from the district.

Even as the session continued with bhajans, all the participants were felicitated. Mangala Arathi at 1840 hrs. marked the end of the proceedings.
