Parthi Yatra by Guntur Devotees…

Prasanthi Nilayam witnessed frenzied devotional fervour as over 3000 devotees from Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh joined in a three day Parthi Yatra to the holy township, from 7th June till 9th June.  

Apart from two ‘official’ presentations at the Sanctum Sanctorum in the Sai Kulwant Hall, the group had a hectic schedule for the three days that included Grama Darshan on the first day morning, a host of rituals including Padhuka Pooja, Yajna, Deeparadhana, Hanuman Chalisa chanting  etc. at the Poornachandra Auditorium, spanning the three day schedule.

On the 7th June evening the devotees had a Musical Dance Ballet offering entitled “Gunturu Sowbaralu“ at the Sanctum Sanctorum, a depiction of Sai experiences in the life of legendary devotees, namely, Jandhyala Papayya Sastry, Jammala Madaka Madhavarama Sarma, Kuppa Sivarama Byragi Sastry, Rama Brahmam Garu, Prof K Anil Kumar and K Narayana Rao Garu.

On the 8th June evening, as a part of the cultural presentation, devotees from the district presented a  bouquet of Musical Offering serenading Beloved Swami with renderings of popular Telugu devotionals.
