3rd Evening Of Dasara Celebrations…

On the eve of the commencement of the Dasara Jnana Saptaha Yajna and allied Prasanthi Vidhwan Mahasabha, today on the 3rd evening of the ongoing Dasara celebrations, Sri Vedanarayanan, faculty at Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School, Prasanthi Nilayam, who also spearheads the Mandir Vedam chanting, addressed the concourse of devotees speaking on the genesis of the Prasanthi Dasara Celebrations.

What is the significance of the worship of the three forms of the Divine Mother, Maha Kali, Maha Lakshmi and Maha Saraswathi was well explained, touching upon the three aspects of Iccha Shakti, Jnana Shakti and Kriya Shakti. The experienced speaker who has seen many a Dasara in His immediate Divine Presence also explained the onstage activities during the Saptaha Jnana Yajna at the Poornachandra Auditorium, touching upon various segments in detail. Sri Vedanarayanan concluded narrating a beautiful personal experience decades ago, experience of direct blessing from Bhagawan that he received at the end of a 9-day long chanting of Durga Saptashati urging fellow devotees on the supreme significance  of  Prasanthi Dasara. Such an opportunity many not come every time, said the speaker, exhorting one and all to make the best use of the celebrations.

Earlier, in connection with Namakkal Parthi Yatra, Kalaimamani Jayakumar and party offered a Saxophone concert, mainly presenting Prasanthi Mandir Bhajans along with some of the popular devotional numbers. A contingent of devotees from the Tamilnadu district are on a 2-day Parthi Yatra to Prasanthi Nilayam. Commencing the proceedings this evening, District President of SSSSO -Namakkal addressed the evening assembly touching upon some of the interesting stories of Bhagawan’s blessings received during Bhagawan’s many Tamilnadu visits.
