Devudu Cheppina Katha – His Story As Narrated By HimSelf…

A most captivating speech linking the Avatars of Shirdi and Parthi by a seasoned Sri Sanjay Sahani was the highlight of the Durgashtami evening proceedings of the Prasanthi Vidhwan Mahasabha today here, in Prasanthi Nilayam.

He commenced his most inciting evening rhetoric with the story of Shirdi Sai, narrating the most revealing story-line from ‘His Story’ wherein The Lord at Shirdi spelt out answers from the Divine realm, answering to a Magistrate who was into questioning Him relating to a theft happened in the village. Linking up the story with the present day, Sri Sahani then effortlessly connected the dots with His Story in Puttaparthi, wherein a perplexed father, Sri Peddavenkama Raju got the revealing answer from a young Sathyanarayana Raju, Who stunned him with His revelation that He Is Sai Baba. Talking about the triune Avataric phenomena that is a one-time unique affair, the speaker exhorted the audience to delve in the momentous moments understanding the inherent immortal nature. Interspersed with some of the most beautiful experiences, Sri Sahani’s speech this evening turned out to be a soul-stirring, uplifting experience for the entire assemblage.

A brief explanation on the Devi Mahatmyam part of the Dasara Jnana Yajna by Sri CR Santosh from the Brindavan Campus of SSSIHL next was followed by Bhagawan’s Divine discourse.

The Prasanthi Dance Group then offered a unique offering entitled Devudu Cheppina Katha, His Story As Narrated By HimSelf, presenting the story of The Lord Of Shirdi. The presentation was based on the Burrah Katha offering that had its staging in His immediate Divine Presence. The presentation ended with an offering of Shirdi Sai Arathi, being offered to The Lord at Parthi for the first time.

Songs, dialogues, narrations, all sets of activities were done live, without any prerecording. Concluding his speech Sri Sanjay Sahani had a beautiful narration on an erstwhile Durgashtami occasion, wherein Bhagawan showered chocolates on a group of medicos from the General Hospital at Prasanthi Nilayam saying He is worshiping His instruments. In turn Sanjay Sahani had a question as to what best can we offer to This Lord Who ever grants HimSelf to His devotees? He left this question to be answered by each individual. Truly, this evening’s offering turned out to be a most wonderful tribute to the Sai at Shirdi and Parthi, reliving His Story as told by HimSelf.

Bhajans next ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
