Inauguration of Radio Sai Recording Studio at Tirupati

Radiosai is a medium blessed by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, to uplift human values in the society. This radio service was started  in the year 2001, on the occasion of Baba’s 76th birthday celebrations. Initially, this service was made available on the World Space satellite radio as a free channel. As the years went on, the response that it had from thousands of devotees from across the globe, immensely inspired the Radiosai team. UG students from Brindavan Campus of SSSIHL pay their gratitude to Bhagawan

On the anniversary of His final public Darshan, thus far…, passing out students of Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Sciences and Bachelor of Arts from the Brindavan (Bangalore) campus of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning assembled in Prasanthi Nilayam on the 25th March 2012. They started the programme with an emotional speech thanking Bhagawan for the memories He has given them. Ugadi in Prasanthi Nilayam…

Nandana Nama Ugadi, herading of the arrival of vernacular Telugu New Year, was celebrated this year in Prasanthi Nilayam in the Divine Presence of Bhagawan on the 23rd of March marked by special programmes.  Over the years Prasanthi had the unique boon of celebrating the new year in the physical presence of the Avatar of The Age, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This being the first new year after Bhagawan’s physical passing on last year had a nostalgic flavour of His mighty physical presence.

On the 25th morning after the regular Vedic chanting by the students, Panchanga Shravanam (recitation of religious almanac pertaining to the coming year) was conducted by noted vedic scholar Sri Kuppa Siva Subrahmanya Avadhani. As the festivity marks the beginning of a new Panchanga, it is significant to conduct Panchanga Shravanam, hearing of the annual forecast as predicated in the Panchanga. read more »

Love and Gratitude by Post Graduate Students of His University

Student life in His University is undoubtedly the most cherished time for  these young gentlemen ready to step out into the world and put His words into practice. However it is not easy to part from this Home away from Home, the place where they came into such close proximity with their Divine Mother, some of them for the last seventeen years.

Passing out students of MSc, MA, MBA and MPhil offered their gratitude to Bhagawan on the evening of 18 Mar 2012 with a variety programme including talks, songs, instrumentals, poetry and dances. The only achievement that the students strive for, they said, is to see a smile on their Master’s face and commenced the programme with that very objective. read more »

Anantapur students offer gratitude to their Founder Chancellor

Outgoing students of Under Graduate, Post Graduate, B.Ed and M Phil of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus arrived in Prasanthi Nilayam to seek blessings of Bhagawan before their final exams.

“How can it be said that Bhagawan’s Darshan is history when He wakes us up every morning as the Sun, caresses us as the Breeze and provides fragrance as the Flower”, questioned a student at the start of the 45 minute presentation to their ever near, ever dear and ever here Lord. The programme consisted of songs interspersed with commentary, poems , experiences and expressions of gratitude to Bhagawan.The rendering was in English, Hindi and Telugu.Though gratitude was the underlying theme of the programme, the students also displayed their deep understanding and faith in Bhagawan with some inspirational wisdom. read more »

Adilabad Parthi Yatra 2012

Over 1500  devotees from Adilabad arrived in Prasanthi Nilayam on 24th Feb. They held a massive procession this evening featuring folk dances, ritual rallies and effervescent fireworks throwing the temple town into a mood of gaiety and celebration.

On the evening of 25th, the pilgrims provided a unique vaudevillian show in Sai Kulwant Hall today including Dances, Burra Katha, Hari Katha, Poetry, Talks, Video Clippings and Songs. A small girl anthropomorphising Adilabad started the programme with a talk of gratitude followed by a dance to the tunes of ‘Sampoorna Avataram‘. read more »

‘Sivoham’, Dance Programme by Students

The Post Graduate Students of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthi Nilayam campus presented a dance programme entitled, ‘Shivoham’. The objective of the programme was to describe through dance how the potential energy of Shiva directed inwards and the kinetic energy of Shakti directed outside are essentially the one and the same.

They started the programme with a choreography to the words of Sri Rudraprasnah Laghunyasah, with a prayer to Lord Sai Shiva to help realise Him in our hearts. Fire, Air, Moon, Directions, the Primordial Ocean, Earth, Plants, Lightning, Rain all forms of Shakti, were depicted through graceful steps as the dynamic manifestation of Shiva Himself. Just as the drop is not different from the ocean, they argued, the I is not different from the Universe. read more »
