Adilabad Parthi Yatra…

Devotees from Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh, on a 3-day Parthi Yatra in Prasanthi Nilayam, presented a drama entitled “Sevanjali” on Saturday, 22 February here in Prasanthi Nilayam. Over 1500 devotees joined the Parthi Yatra.

The presentation on the theme of Seva was an attempt to bring out the greater relevance and sanctity of service done under the auspices of Sathya Sai Seva Organisations.

Presenting the story of protagonist Sashi, a youth with a motive to do service, whose life turned into a transformed one, ever since he came in touch with the Sri Sathya Sai Family. The service activities of SSSSO are actuated by the principle that service helps oneself first, affirming Bhagawan’s message that transformation should start from the individual first, spreads into society that leads to transformation of the entire world. If we hold on to Sai principles victory is certain; slow and steady transformation is sure to yield dividends and results in world-wide transformation.

Beautiful colourful dances served as added flavour to the presentation.

Earlier, the programme commenced with a spirited Telugu introductory talk by Sri Ranganatha Raju, an alumnus of SSSSIHL, the mainstay behind the cultural presentation in the evening. Raju chose to speak of His unmatched glory, reminiscing some of the most beautiful incidents during his college days at Prasanthi, inviting one and all for the evening show.

Bhajans continued and ended with Mangala Arathi at 1820 hrs.

Continuing from the previous evening, on 23 February, Sunday morning Adilabad devotees offered a musical bouquet singing an array of Telugu devotionals. It turned out to be a rare treat of sweet melody, singing paeans to Him in His chosen language, yet in the language of the heart.
