Hrudaya Sanghamam and Drama by Alappuzha Youth…

“Hrudaya Sanghamam” – unique meeting of the hearts that were healed at the Temples Of Healing of Bhagawan, first of its kind initiative by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, found its way back to the hallowed Prasanthi precincts once again today, on the 4th evening of the ongoing Onam festivity in Prasanthi Nilayam. Ever since its inception in 2009, the programme has been a regular feature during Prasanthi Onam celebrations.

This evening, the programme commenced at 1700 hrs with an introductory talk by Dr Anand Mohan, State Medical Coordinator and the mainstay of SRP – Kerala.

Sri Franklin, one of the beneficiaries of Bhagawan’s ‘medicare’ at Prasanthigram then shared his personal experiences with Bhagawan, speaking in vernacular Malayalam. Being a non-believer in Sathya Sai, one coming from a Christian background, Franklin would scorn at all the stories of glories galore on Bhagawan, shared by many during his stay at the hospital. At the peak of his agonising moment, owing to unbearable pain, he had twin visitations of Bhagawan, a response to his calling out to Jesus Christ. Bhagawan appeared both the time to pacify him, making his life easy, relaxed and comfortable.  He was humbled at seeing the par excellent devotion that fills Prasanthi Nilayam, acknowledged the speaker with awe and gratitude.

Sri Shravan Kumar, In-charge, SRP at SSSIHMS – Whitefield spoke next, elaborating the modus operandi of the SRP in detail.

A drama entitled “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshita” by the Sai Youth of Alappuzha district was the final offering this evening. The presentation dramatised the epochal event of the Ramayana, of the events leading to Rama’s exile for 14 years and Bharata’s reluctance to take over the Kingdom, that was due to Rama. Where Rama Is there, Righteousness takes the reins, irrespective of time, space and surroundings.  Rama Was… Is… and Ever Will Be… The Embodiment Of Righteousness.

Bhajans continued and the session concluded with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.

As part of the ongoing celebrations a special Sri Sathya Sai Maha Archana Yajnam was organised this morning at the Poornachandra Auditorium, attended by a huge congregation of devotees.
