Twameva Saranam Mama… a Musical Presentation On The Bhagavad Gita…

Offering the second day’s proceedings of the ongoing Ashadi Parthi Yatra by the twin states of Maharashtra and Goa, Sai Women Youth from the states presented a unique musical treat entitled “Twameva Saranam Mama” at the Sanctum Sanctorum this morning, in Prasanthi Nilayam. Earlier, the session commenced with a series of three short-speeches by selected Sai Women Youth.

Bhagavad Gita, the Song Celestial at the Kurukshetra battlefield, is considered to be the “Greatest Ever Satsangh” happened between man and God and this morning’s offering based on the Gita had rare glimpses of the ‘Beauty Beyond Compare’, touching upon the essence of the teachings presented in snippets, well aided by appropriate skits. Interludes of commentary on the significance of the teachings made the presentation a feasible spiritual treat for the morning assemblage. The session ended with a fervent prayer of surrender to Bhagawan pleading Him to guide in their onward march, singing “Anyatha Saranam Nasthi, Twameva Saranam Mama…”

Earlier, representing the Sai Youth, three women from the state addressed the audience airing their views and versions on Bhagawan and His promised Golden Age delving upon their possible contribution to  the Sai Mission. Instead of waiting for His magic wand to wield anticipating a miracle overnight, one can better focus on Bhagawan’s Universal Maha Mantra “Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu”, etc, resolving to contribute at least one good attribute to the betterment of society, echoed one of the inspirational speakers. One may resolve to be happy and count his blessings, offering gratitude galore all around. The three speakers also had their share of thrilling personal experiences of His Touch Of Grace. The speakers were Ms Sayieshwari Patil, Ms Rati Venkat and Ms Veena Chenorer, with Ms Sucharita as the Master Of Ceremonies.

Bhajans next concluded with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
