53rd Anniversary Celebrations of Vata Vriksha

The Lord Who wrote a Divine Treatise on the Meditation, titled Dhyana Vahini, with His Divine Fore vision had planted a small sapling on the idyllic hillock, at the eastern side of Prasanthi Mandir, five decades ago, precisely on 29th June 1959. Summer Course in Indian Culture & Spirituality – 2012

Marking the commencement of the new Academic Year, a Summer Course in Indian Culture and Spirituality was organized by the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) from the 8th June to 10th June 2012 at Prasanthi Nilayam, participated by the students from all the four campuses along with faculties and staff members.  The programme was modelled on the Summer Course in Indian Culture and Spirituality that the Revered Founder Chancellor, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba had initiated in 1972. read more »

Commencement of SSSIHL Muddenahalli Campus

The fourth campus of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) at Muddenahalli (in Chickballapur Dist., Karnataka) started functioning from 1 June 2012. The men’s only campus hosts undergraduate students pursuing Bachelors in Business Management and Bachelors in Computer Applications.

During the Academic Year 2011/12, the Bachelors in Business Management (BBM)and Bachelors in Computer Applications (BCA) programmes for men commenced at the Prasanthi Nilayam Campus. All men students of both these programmes have now shifted to the Muddenahalli Campus. read more »

Sai Kailash – Divine Abode in Ooty Dedicated to Bhagawan…

The picturesque hill-station in the Nilgiris District of Tamil Nadu is the latest entrant in the list of Abodes of Kaliyuga Avatar Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Named as “Sai Kailash”, the Divine Abode is the third one in the State, after “Sundaram” in Chennai and “Sai Shruthi” in Kodaikanal. A Report on the opening function held on 23rd May. read more »

Pavitra Parthi Yatra by Devotees from Ranga Reddy District

Over 1100 devotees from Ranga Reddy District arrived on a two day Pavitra Parthi Yatra (sacred pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam) on 19 May 2012. They conducted a group prayer of  Lalita Sahasranama Parayanam on the 19th morning at 1100 hrs and a Satsangam (Spiritual gathering) at at 1445hrs were they listened to a renowned orator before discussing various topics.

At 1715hrs, the District President Sri Ramakuchel presented a report of the service activities of Ranga Reddy District at the Sai Kulwant hall in the Divine Presence. Starting the speech with gratitude of the memories of the Radha Krishna drama, they presented on 26th July 2009, he then enumerated the various activities by the organisation under the Village Integrated Programme, Agri Care, Socio Care, Medi Care and  Deena Jano Dharana Project. read more »

Buddha Purnima Celebrations

Love and Compassion is the theme of this year’s Buddha Purnima Celebrations in Prasanthi Nilayam attended by devotees from Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, Bhutan, Nepal, Thailand, Sri Lanka,  China, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and Indonesia. Easwaramma Day Commemoration

Bhagawan has often been heard to tell the words, “Do I need to invite you to your own mother’s house?” There is no power as magnetic as Mother’s love. No wonder then that thousands thronged the Easwaramma – Pedda Venkama Raju Samadhi Mandir on the holy occasion of Easwaramma day.
